OUR OBJECTIVES

1. To develop fluency in the use of English and to foster enjoyment of all the processes of communication oral, written and visual.

2. To promote a spiritual atmosphere for physical, mental and academic growth.

3. To stimulate intellectual curiosity, directing and exercising the emotions, encouraging clear thinking and discrimination.

4. To develop in the school, a caring community, exercising concern and respect for the welfare of others and emphasizing the over riding importance of good human relations, based upon sensitivity, tolerance and goodwill.

5. To encourage an attitude of positive response to the persistent demands of changing society, yet firmly upholding a belief in basic values and standards.

6. To encourage children to appreciate the virtues of collaboration, to foster habits of responsibility and self-discipline and to promote initiative, endeavour and the exercise of individual judgement.

We are happy to have a professional staff who have been chosen not only for their academic ability but also for their ability to stimulate and guide students in all other areas of their interest and development.

RULES OF OUR SCHOOL

1. The hours of attendance are from 9.30 a.m to 4.10 p.m

2. Without the Principal’s prior permission, no student will be allowed to leave the school premises between 9.30 a.m and 4.10 p.m.

3. Pupils must be clean and tidy in their person and dress, Pupils must come in the prescribed School Uniform.

4. Pupils must attend school regularly. No leave of absence shall be granted except for valid reasons. Absence on the first day of each term will be considered a serious offence. Application for leave on these days must be explicit and if on medical grounds, should be supported by a medical certificate.

5. Pupils should reach the school atleast five minutes before the assembly begins.

6. Pupils are strictly forbidden to purchase any eatables from unauthorized dealers near the school premises.

7. During the absence of a teacher from the class, students should be under the control of the class captains.

8. Pupils should keep their books clean, neatly covered and properly marked. They should keep the classrooms and school premises spick and span.

9. Pupils should take utmost care of the school property. If any damage is done, it will be recovered from the person concerned.

10. Irregular attendance, disobedience, and conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school and consistent poor performance in studies are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of the pupil.

11. All Saturdays will be holidays for LKG & UKG Classes.

12. English which is the medium of instruction should be used at all times in the school premises.

13. Visitors are not allowed to see the students by themselves. Prior permission of the Principal and the teachers is essential.

14. Parents are requested not to disturb their children during school hours. Parents who want their wards during school hours for some urgent reasons shall request the Principal for the same in writing. However this should be used sparingly.

15. The school uniform must be worn on school days. The uniform must be clean and tidy. If a pupil comes to school without uniform, he/she must obtain the Principal’s permission before going to the class. A pupil who often comes without proper uniform or whose uniform is untidy, will be sent back home.

16. Leave of absence on a working day can be granted, for a valid reason, but only on previous application in writing from the parent or guardian.

17. Everyday pupils should get parent’s signatures in the diary.

18. Home assignments shall be done within the stipulated time.

19. A pupil who is absent continuously for 10 days without informing the Principal previously or obtaining his permission, will have his name struck off the school register. Readmission will be considered only on merit basis. 20. Attendance for the morning assembly is compulsory.

21. All must co-operate towards ensuring cleanliness of the school. Hence no papers, seeds or other rubbish things should be thrown with in the campus, but should be put into the bins provided for the purpose. Windows are made of glass. Students should take care of these.

22. Although every care will be taken of the pupil’s property the school will not be responsible for any theft or loss of the same. Students are not allowed to wear any gold ornaments or bring any valuable articles to school. Only text books connected with the time table should be brought to school.

23. Cars, cycles and other vehicles should be parked in the parking place in the front.

24. No collection of money for any purpose whatsoever is allowed without the permission of the Principal.

25. Parents and guardians are earnestly requested to enforce regularity and discipline in the children and see that they prepare their home lessons. They are also expected to see that progress reports are brought to them and returned as soon as possible to the teachers after having been duly signed.

26. Fine will be collected from the individual student or groups for the breakage of windows, cupboards, benches desks and laboratory articles.

27. Any complaint regarding the academic standard of any child should be made to the Principal or to the President. This should be strictly followed by the parents.

PAYMENT OF FEES

1. Old students should pay the Fees before May 10th. They can pay in two instalments.

2. Penalty Fees will be collected if the time limit is exceeded.

3. New students should pay the Fees in full during Admission.

WITHDRAWAL

Before the withdrawal of a pupil, a written application for the Transfer Certificate must be forwarded to the Principal, 10 days in advance with a fee of `250/- for the same. No transfer certificate shall be issued till the school dues are paid.

HOSTEL

A well maintained and disciplined hostel is attached and it is within the premises of the school. Vegetarian diet with egg is provided. Only a limited number of students from LKG to XII Standard can be accommodated. Separate application form for hostel should be obtained from the office.
